Right at Home West LA located on 14th St in Santa Monica provides non-medical home care in clients’ homes. This may include helping them dress, meal preparation, bathing, helping them walk from one area to another, medication reminders, and/or companionship (taking walks together, playing games, gardening). You may drive clients to a doctor’s appointment, do errands for them, and do some light housekeeping.

Have your Home Care Aide license, a recent TB test and are CPR certified*

What You’ll Do and Who You Are:

You’re the honest, energetic and approachable type, and are able to get along and communicate easily with people at all levels.

You don’t mind getting a little dirty...this could include (but is not limited to) providing assistance with eating, personal hygiene, light housekeeping, laundry and other household chores.

You don’t have to be a gourmet chef but you can prepare a good meal and work your way around a kitchen.

You are able to assist the client in many ways—this could include (but is not limited to) providing medication reminders, assisting with prescribed range-of-motion exercises, dementia care, and companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.
