    Right at Home West LA, located on 14th Street in Santa Monica, is a licensed Home Care Organization serving the needs of clients all up and down West Los Angeles area. We have clients as far north as Woodland Hills/Canoga Park, as far south as Redondo Beach, and as far west as Culver City. Many of us have worked with him for years and feel lucky to be part of such a close-knit and dedicated team. Client Care Coordinator: Job Summary

    Ensures that all client-requested shifts are scheduled with appropriate care staff. Performs various activities including but not limited to monitoring clock-ins and clock-outs, recording late arrivals and no-shows, and providing appropriate feedback and encouragement. Maintains a positive relationship with all care staff while also maintaining necessary discipline. Establishes and maintains a friendly, yet constructive relationship with clients and client families. Makes appropriate commitments and ensures that the company’s commitments to both clients and staff are fulfilled. Is knowledgeable of all related company policies and expresses concern to management when care staff falls short. Provides after-hours coordinator (on-call) and/or fill-in Caregiver duties, as needed. Assists in various office administrative duties as requested/assigned.

    Summary of Duties- not all-inclusive

    Schedules and coordinates day-to-day activities of caregivers.

    Enters new client and schedule information into ClearCare and ensures application of proper pricing.

    Answers telephone, takes inquiries or messages using good telephone techniques.

    Responds promptly and courteously to all incoming calls.

    Communicates continually with associates and clients to evaluate service.

    Performs pre-payroll duties including verifying clock-ins and clock-outs, reviewing and updating computer records in preparation for weekly billing and payroll processing.

    Maintains documentation of Caregiver work record in assigned system (i.e. Clear Care or other) and ensures current and complete personnel records for all care staff.

    Assists HR Manager with recruiting, associate hiring, orientations, in-services and disciplinary actions, etc. as needed.

    Escalates reports of client dissatisfaction, theft and abusive or inappropriate client or care staff behavior to management (i.e. HR, Client Care Manager/supervisor, or owner).

    Performs on-call/after-hours coordinator duties as needed.

    Serves as liaison between care staff and Client Care Manager/Human Resources.

    Assists with sales, marketing, and public relations efforts as needed.

    Provides fill-in assistance with clients for any call-offs or in an emergency. Up to 50% of time, as needed.

    Other duties as assigned by management.

    Additional (non-essential) Functions

    Other general office and clerical functions.

    Other duties assigned by the Management Staff.

    Work as a caregiver in case of staffing emergency.

    Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Availability

    High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate- preferred

    6+ months of experience scheduling staff at either another Home Care Organization, LTC Facility, etc.

    Experience using Wellsky (aka Clear Care) to schedule and staff- preferred

    Registered with Department of Social Services- Home Care Aide License required

    TB Test within 90 days or 7 days after hire date

    Six (6)+ months experience as a Personal Care Assistant/Home Care Aide/Caregiver

    CPR Certification (within the first week of hire, if not current)

    Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.

    Have a valid driver’s license and use of insured/registered automobile.

    Must be able to commute to Santa Monica Corporate office Monday-Friday 8 am to 5 pm. No remote work.

    Benefits

    Starting Pay between $18.50 - $20 per hour depending on experience

    Full-time position
