Here are the minimum qualifications:
While previous caregiver or related experience is preferred, we provide comprehensive training for all new caregivers.
Have a caring, empathetic, and respectful attitude toward clients and their families.
Demonstrate strong communication skills, actively listening, and responding effectively.
Display reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Have a valid/registered Home Care Aide (HCA) license, recent TB test, and CPR certification.
Ideally, have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Be at least 18 years old.
Here are some examples of tasks you may undertake:
Provide exceptional personal care services to elderly and disabled clients within the comfort of their own homes.
Assist clients with their daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
Ensure clients adhere to their care plans by reminding them to take medications, etc.
Support with light housekeeping duties, preparing meals, and handling grocery shopping.
Engage in meaningful conversations and offer companionship to clients.
Offer transportation to medical appointments, errands, and social outings.
