Right at Home Wilmington is seeking EXPERIENCED PCAs and CNAs to work one-on-one with clients in their homes. It's a fantastic opportunity to build relationships, get to know your clients and their families, and provide dedicated, meaningful care!The dedicated,meaningful care that you provide may be the difference between life or death for a senior. Here's how you can keep a senior from going to the hospital:Fall Prevention- no falls means no ER visits AND NO SURGERIES!Medication Reminders-staying on track with meds means no doctor or ER visits!Personal Care Assistance: maintaining skin integrity means no wound care, no visiting nurses in and out of the house potentially exposing our clients to infectionMeal Preparation and hydration: healthy bodies can better fight off infection Errands: grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions means your client doesn't have to go out into the community
Job duties typically consist of assistance with non-medical activities of daily living such as:
*bathing and dressing
*toileting
*transferring
*light housekeeping
*meal planning and preparation
*transportation
*socialization and companionship
*dementia and cognitive support

Requirements:-21 years old or older-High School graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.-Minimum of 1 year of experience in care giving required.-Must possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job.-Must be able to pass a background check-Must have a cell phone-Must provide Tb test results current within the past year
