    Job Title : Denial Management Coordinator

    Position Summary

    A Denial Management Coordinator is responsible for analyzing and resolving denied insurance claims to maximize revenue for healthcare providers. They work closely with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to identify the causes of claim denials and implement effective solutions to prevent future denials.

    Major Responsibilities:

    • Position is responsible for managing the process of recovering revenue associated with disputed/denied oncology claims by the preparation of required medical record requests, prepay audits.
    • Utilizes payers’ clinical policy bulletins and centers for Medicare.
    • Performs review of assigned requests, audits, pre-pay denials and denials to determine the cause.
    • Ensure ICD 10 coding is accurate in EMR and billing system.
    • Review denied insurance claims to identify reasons for denial.
    • Analyze denial patterns and trends to address root causes.
    • Knowledge of ICD 10 coding, HCPCS CPT coding for oncology/hematology

    Requirements & Skills :

    • High School grad or 5 years exp in related field
    • Knowledge of ICD 10 coding, HCPCS CPT coding for oncology/hematology
    • Minimum Experience: Medical terminology
    • Must be able to pass background and drug screening
    • Medical on-boarding (if applicable to your position)
    • Covid Vaccine required (May depend on facility requirement)

    Details

    • Shift: 8am/9am-4:30/5:30pm
    • Location: Danbury, CT
    • Duration: 3 Month Contract (Possibility of extension and contract to hire)
