We are looking for a FINANCIAL ANALYST for an 8-month contract to be in VANCOUVER, WA. If you have first level university degree with a focus in business or economics, advanced degree or accounting certification, with 4+ years of experience in ACCOUNTING, FORECASTING, SCENARIO MODELLING and ANALYTICS, APPLY NOW!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Partners with the businesses to ensure monthly and quarterly forecasts are published.
• Gathers financial data and performs financial analyses and reporting to influence decisions within the business and to drive cross-business initiatives (adjusted revenue, O&O changes, restatement process, Ops dollarization, NPI reviews, Insight 2.0).
• Ensures strong business controls.
• Specialist: Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives.
• Works on problems/projects of diverse complexity and scope.
• Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution.
• May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision-making process.
• May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g. CPA, MBA) preferred.
• Typically 4+ years of experience as a financial analyst. Intermediate to thorough level of knowledge of tactical Accounting/financial analysis.
• Exposure to strategic planning at this level is desirable.
