Founded in 2004, Rightsize employs an industry leading PLAN, FURNISH and SERVICE approach to ensure seamless workplace transitions and is a single source for space planning, furniture selection and procurement, delivery and installation, facility decommissioning, ancillary project services and commercial flooring.
The Business Development Manager will play a fundamental role in achieving revenue growth and new customer acquisition goals by identifying new prospects and generating new business opportunities to drive deal flow.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Utilize industry leading "Money Ball" style team-based approach to identify & hunt corporate clients in transition who need Interior Design, Office Furniture and Facility Services when relocating, expanding, or downsizing
• Perform lead generation through cold calling, b2b selling, attendance of industry events, and other methods to identify personal business prospects and to assist the sales team in in acquiring new business
• Research target demographics, economic trends, customer needs and other data that can be used in creating strategies for business development
• Build relationships with new and existing customers, and partners through consistent follow up, reliable communication and frequent updates on organizational developments
• Present sales pitches, product reports and other valuable data to potential prospects in a way that promotes the company brand/mission and helps the audience identify a need
• Participate in programming/event activities with BD and marketing
• Diligently update our ERP/CRM system to capture sales analytics and stay current on leads and follow-ups
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education & Professional Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in applicable discipline or equivalent time spent in professional business development role within commercial real estate industry
• Minimum of 5 years of successful BD experience w/ a proven track record of execution
• Accomplished and well versed in office interiors with experience in interior design and knowledge of the commercial real estate (CRE) industry.
• Experience developing relationships with Owners, C-Level executives, Finance, Facilities Management, and human resource executives, within companies of all sizes
• Previous CRM experience & proficiency strongly preferred (i.e. NetSuite, Salesforce, HubSpot, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Must enjoy networking & being out and attending industry events
