    Job Description:

    The Training and Development Specialist will assist the Sr. Director of Learning and Development with the assessment, analysis, creation, development, and implementation of Rigil’s Training Lifecycle Solution for Rigil’s customers.

    Partners with key Rigil leadership and other personnel to assess, analyze, and create a robust lifecycle of training and development

    Identify best practices, processes, and technologies to utilize in client solutions

    Supports Rigil’s proprietary framework and technological platform used within training and development solutions

    Creates and/or acquires training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials.

    Presents training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos.

    Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements.

    Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.

    Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in training and development.

    Performs other related duties as required.

    Actively supports client-focused deliverables pertaining to learning, training, and development

    Develop, enhance, deliver, and/or support existing and new enterprise training programs in various settings such as classroom, e-learning, and on-the-job, etc.

    Design e-learning and training content.

    Deliver and facilitate training to diverse audiences’ in-person and online.

    Support the learning team through some learning program administration as needed

    Keeps abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques.

    Minimum qualifications:

    Minimum 5 years of experience in human resources or equivalent role with at least 3 years in learning and development as an instructional designer, trainer, and/or learning specialist, or similar.

    Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Business, Computer Science, or related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with instructional systems design and managing training development projects.

    Experience authoring process documentation.

    Experience maintaining a Learning Management System.

    Experience conducting eLearning quality reviews and training related to data analysis.

    Required Skills/Abilities

    Excellent project management, communication, presentation, and public speaking skills

    Proven experience and knowledge applying training and development principles and adult learning theory

    Must have strong interpersonal skills, be able to perform in a team environment, collaborate with others, handle multiple projects, be flexible with change, and meet deadlines

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Strong presentation skills.

    Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.

    Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.

    Ability to design and implement effective training and development.

    Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. SharePoint and Visio experience desired

    Instructional design skills, knowledge of ADDIE and or SAM

    Working experience with learning management systems
