    PurposeRigil Budget Analyst conduct financial and budgetary assessments and evaluations and provide support for client financial management procedures and processes.

    Duties and responsibilities

    Independently perform tasks involving budget exaction and formulation by compiling data from various financial management reports.

    Provide oversight and support for monitoring and tracking budget/spend plan activities to including projections, tracking funds distribution and reconciling commitments and obligations.

    Establish, maintain and update expenditures relative to funding activities, ensuring no over-obligations of funds.

    Gather, extract and compile data (via excel) for us in recurring and nonrecurring reports and provide status updates

    Review budgetary transactions for compliance with policies and procedures and ensure that funds are available. Provide support for continual comparison of current estimates with ongoing expenditures. Identify trends/patterns.

    Prepare and synthesize information for inclusion in a variety of reports and briefings.

    Conduct informal studies related to procedures and processes.

    Perform technical tasks and provides support to the financial analysis process.

    Assist the team with providing information and support on budget and financial analysis

    Minimum qualifications and skills

    Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Statistics or related field.

    3-5 years of relevant experience is required.

    Excel financial tools required

    Ability to interpret a wide range of information and use their findings to make sound financial decisions.

    Ability to communicate clearly and precisely in both writing and speaking. Successful analysts also need good listening skills to understand the organization’s problems and propose appropriate solutions. Interpersonal skills. Ability to work with stakeholders, clients, and teammates of the organization and to actively work within the team to achieve the organization’s goals.

    Ability to think creatively to solve clients’ problems; and adaptability to respond unique challenges present in different client organizations.

    Ability to work under tight deadlines and use time efficiently to complete projects on time.
