    Job description:

    This role will serve to support the Workforce Development Initiative for the FAA AIT Workforce Development Group. The candidate will need to be well versed in competency modeling as they will bring project-specific expertise to bear on accomplishing the tactical and strategic requirements of supporting the team in standing up this initiative. Needs to be a strong team player who seeks to collaboratively drive project progress from within the team. Must be the detailed focus while navigating multiple priorities to support the needs of the customer. This candidate will possess a deep knowledge of current trends and approaches within career mapping, data-driven development, and competency-based learning. They will need to be self-motivated, deeply analytical, and possess strong problem-solving skills. Familiarity with Federal government workforce development initiatives and any experience in;

    Strategic planning and program analysis

    Leading working groups or integrated project teams

    Workforce analysis, planning, and reporting

    Development of recruitment strategies and staff plans

    Program management of career development and training functions

    Establishing internship and student-level programs

    Outreach and communications plan development and execution

    Minimum qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree and 8-10 years’ experience

    Skills:

    Intermediate to advance knowledge in workforce planning and human capital management, strategic planning, business management and operations, and information technology capability management. Advanced writing, problem-solving, analytical, critical-thinking, and time management skills. Strong interpersonal communication and stakeholder management skills; proven ability to build positive working relationships. Demonstrated ability to thrive and collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment while managing multiple, complex issues and competing priorities simultaneously.
