Job description:
The project analyst will work directly with the project manager and software development team to provide support through task management and overall project performance. They are responsible for project documentation and monitoring, including detailed plans for future software features, detailed timelines for deliverables and any possible issues. A typical day could include working with a software architect to create technical documentation and for a new feature of an application, working with a project manager to divide a new software features into tasks for the development team, and testing new software enhancements done by the development team. They will be using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and the Google suite of productivity apps.
An ideal candidate will have 0-2 years of experience with the software development life cycle, experience with task management and tracking software, have some sort of technical background and an interest in the project management side of a software development team.
Minimum qualifications:
B.S. - preferably in a technical field
Must be comfortable using software programs to process data and interpret the results using critical thinking
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Exceptional research and reporting skills
Organized and capable of multitasking and managing their time
