    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s Degree + 5 relevant years(A 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree with a major in any field that included or was supplemented by at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management is required.)

    At a minimum, the ideal candidate for this support would be able to perform the following:

    Track invoices and report acceptance recommendation to project managers

    Track customer funding and recommend actions to project managers when additional funding is required across multiple contracts and delivery orders

    Support project managers with yearly budget planning and monthly administration

    Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement, forecasts, etc)

    Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance

    Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks

    Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast models

    Identify trends and recommend actions to project managers based on sound analysis

    Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts

    Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data

    Develop and maintain acquisition strategies for contract/task order to ensure appropriate management preparation for continuation of needed contractor support

    Preferred skillset(s) for this support:

    Proven working experience as a Finance or Budget Analyst

    Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications

    Hands on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages

    Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills

    Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis

    Well informed of government financial processes and regulations
