    Job Description

    RIKOR INSURANCE AND CONSULTING IS AN INSURANCE TECHNOLOGY STARTUP. OUR FIRM HAS DEVELOPED PROPRIETARY TECHNOLOGY AND A UNIQUE INSURANCE CONSULTING MODEL. OUR RAPIDLY GROWING CLIENTELE REQUIRES US TO MAINTAIN STRONG RELATIONSHIPS AT SCALE VIA TECHNOLOGY. HYPER-GROWTH IS OUR GREATEST CHALLENGE AND OPPORTUNITY. 

     

    THE INSURANCE CONSULTANT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PRODUCING POLICIES AND BINDING THEM. THIS ROLE REQUIRES SOMEONE WHO IS EXPERIENCED IN BUSINESS INSURANCE AND CREATING RELATIONSHIPS OF TRUST WITH CUSTOMERS. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE SUPERLATIVE EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE, A HUNGER FOR DISCERNING CUSTOMER CHALLENGES OR NEEDS, AND EMBODIES THE VALUES OF THE RIKOR BRAND.

     

    THIS CANDIDATE WILL PRODUCE POLICIES AT SCALE AND EXECUTE THE BROKER AGREEMENT. TO MANY CUSTOMERS, THE INSURANCE CONSULTANT WILL ACT AS A SURROGATE FOR THE VOICE OF THE COMPANY. YOU WILL FOLLOW UP WITH CLIENTS, QUOTE AND BIND POLICIES. AN EXCELLENT COMMAND OF ENGLISH IS A REQUIREMENT, AND AN UNDERSTANDING OF INSURANCE AND BUSINESS RISK EXPOSURE (3-5+ YEARS). WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN EXECUTOR TO ELEVATE THIS ROLE TO ITS FULL POTENTIAL.

     

    A KEY ASPECT OF THIS ROLE IS PEOPLE SKILLS. IT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THIS CANDIDATE TO QUOTE AND BIND INSURANCE POLICIES WITH BUSINESS OWNERS WHO HAVE BROKER AGREEMENTS WITH RIKOR, INC. IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT THIS INDIVIDUAL MEETS OR EXCEEDS ANY PROMISES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED TO THE CUSTOMER IN A PERFECTLY SATISFACTORY MANNER. THIS INDIVIDUAL MUST BE CAPABLE OF TEACHING, EXPLAINING, STORY TELLING, AND ANY OTHER METHODS OF PERSUASION THAT WOULD BE CONSIDERED EFFECTIVE. ENERGY, PASSION, AND COMPASSION ARE REQUISITE FOR THIS POSITION IN ORDER TO SUCCEED. CANDIDATES MUST BE CAPABLE OF BREAKING THE ICE, BREAKING DOWN BARRIERS, BREAKING DOWN MYTHS, AND ALL THIS WITH STYLE AND GRACE.
