Job Description
Rimports is currently seeking an individual for the role of HR Generalist at our Provo, UT office location. The HR Generalist is responsible for the administrative support of the executive team and HR department, including assisting the HR Manager with HR-related duties. These responsibilities may be in the following areas: onboarding, benefits administration, training, policy implementation, recruitment, employment law compliance, etc.
This role will work in the office full-time M-F and report to the Human Resource Manager.
- Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to benefits; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Tracks employee attendance.
- Schedules interviews and updates applicant information in ATS.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Participates in annual safety training, GMP training, supervisor training. and open enrollment.
- Member of the Company Safety Committee.
- Plans company parties.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Assists with handbook policy updates.
- Maintains thorough understanding of company policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Associates degree in HR-related field
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience
- Previous experience in office administration or other related fields
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass a pre-employment drug test.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, printers and filing cabinets.
