    Job Description

    Rincon Consultants, Inc. is seeking an MASTER DATA ANALYST/SPECIALIST who will be responsible for developing and enhancing the Technologist Lifecycle roadmap for documents, systems and equipment in an enterprise environment. 

     

    WHAT DO YOU GET TO DO IN THIS POSITION:

    • Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement to aid in the overall enrichment of asset and metadata lifecycle
    • Familiarity with enterprise/master data management concepts, principles and best practices
    • Facilitates data governance, taxonomy development, internal client support, IP metadata research and implementation
    • Evaluate and establish platform and technology solutions
    • Trains team and users to effectively use processes and procedures
    • Communicates with IT management team on license and application procurement 
    • Keep track of asset inventory to assure adequate supply and accuracy is maintained
    • Tests new equipment and accessories catered to staff needs
    • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

    THIS JOB MIGHT BE FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

    • Degree in Library and/or Information Sciences
    • 2+ years' experience in Master Data Management or Digital Asset Management required
    • Microsoft 365 cloud products, including Azure AD, SharePoint, Teams
    • Knowledge of digital file formats and metadata tags
    • Experience in customer service or reference services preferred
    • Strong, effective communication is a must - both written and verbal 
    • Ability to work independently, to meet deadlines and to follow procedures
    • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in a data or business analyst role that required defining process requirements, collecting metadata, and testing
    • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in researching, analyzing, interpreting and synthesizing information to make an informed decision and/or share the knowledge with team members
    • Excellent organization, multi-tasking and time management skills 
    • Self-motivated and able to execute assigned tasks
