We’re Looking For: A dynamic Mobile Developer to join our team and help us scale the growth that's at our fingertips. If you've worked to build and deploy processes for both iOS and Android and are able to roll up your sleeves to maintain codebases on both platforms we'd love to connect. In this role, you will take the lead role in testing and implementing high-quality code and solving bug fixes. You’ll leverage your prior experience to help us continue to scale our mobile development team and products. Most importantly, you share in our passion to build the world’s best data collection system for environmental professionals.

This role will include:

• Owning the iOS and Android platforms to include, bug fixes, maintenance, and customer feedback/requests
• Taking a leadership role in shaping best practices and unit testing for our dev team
• Implementing code updates and/or fixes
• Excelling in a fast release cycle environment
• Working closely with the QA team to reproduce and fix bugs/reported issues
• Taking ownership of our ESRI Maps Integration initiative
• Providing mentorship to new team members and newer developers

Our Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have 3+ years experience in iOS development and Android development
• Proficient in Swift, Java, PostgreSQL (or other SQL) and CoreData
• Experience working with a complex API backend
• Ruby on Rails experience preferred, but not required
• RXSwift and RxJava experience also preferred but not required
• Prior experience with JavaScript, React, Ember, Vue and the ESRI SDK are a strong plus
• Central Coast, CA location is preferred, but remote is also possible
