The Sales Coordinator Intern represents the company internally and externally, relentlessly improves our understanding of our customers needs, and ensures our market solutions deliver value to our customers. Our 8 core values that you will be accountable for are: * Empathy * Self-Awareness * Self-Accountability * Collaboration * Assertive Open-Mindedness * Results Oriented * Intentional Curiosity * Metrics-Driven Key Activities*: * * Assist Sales Team, focusing mostly on managing schedules and the distribution of any sales documentation. * Field questions from the Sales Representatives and coordinate with the proper departments and return an answer for the Sales Representative. * Coordinate with other departments to integrate items from other departments into sales collateral * Liaise between other departments and the customer to provide the service most suitable to the customers needs, cost and time restraints. * Maintain an inventory of sales materials and supplies, such as brochures, promotional items and product samples. * Ensure that all sales representatives have an adequate inventory of these materials on-hand. They will place orders for these materials as needed. * Generate system documents * Assist in the preparation and organizing of promotional material or events * Arrange for the shipping of sales materials for trade shows or conferences. * Produce reports on key accounts * Inform customers of unforeseen delays or problems * Follow-up on all special projects and assignments given by the Director of Brand * Other responsibilities as assigned. * Responsibilities are subject to change. * Travel less than 10% of the time Supervision Received: This position reports directly to the Director of Operations. Must be able to work within guidelines established by company policies and administered by the Director of Product Development. Company policies are designed with the end result of 100% Customer Satisfaction Supervision Exercised: This position does not exercise any Supervisory or Management Tasks. Requirements * High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required * Associate's Degree (two year college or technical school): or Work Equivalent * Proven experience in sales, experience as a sales coordinator or in other administrative positions will be considered a plus * Excellent computer skills (MS Office), experience with Quickbooks, Sales Force, and SPS commerce will be considered a plus. Training is available. * Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude for problem-solving * Excellent verbal and written communication skills
