CANNABIS INDUSTRY MARKETING INTERNSHIP SUMMARY

RipeMetrics, Inc. (http://ripemetrics.com), a customer experience and feedback management platform for the Cannabis industry, is looking for a marketing intern with excellent writing, communication, and sales skills for an unpaid internship opportunity at our San Diego, CA office.

You'll be working as part our budding content marketing team.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:

• Go-To-Market strategy building for SAAS companies
• Customer Experience, Customer Journey and Marketing Funnel Design
• Copywriting and Content Creation
• Individual network coaching through industry events and professional networking sites
• Social Media Automations and Growth Hacks
• Press relations (You will build your own influencers deck)
• Campaign Building, Tracking and Management

TASKS WILL INCLUDE:

• Writing content for new company websites, blog, and Facebook
• Building Marketing Funnels in Infusionsoft
• Optimizing content for search engines (SEO) such as Google
• Competition and community research
• Marketing client communication (trade show follow-up etc.)
• Business development calls/emails

ALL OF THE NECESSARY TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED. AFTER THE INITIAL TRAINING POSSIBILITY TO WORK REMOTELY (TELECOMMUTE) WITH FLEXIBLE HOURS.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent writing skills
• Fast learner with a can-do attitude
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Reliable

NOT REQUIRED BUT EXTREMELY USEFUL:

• Experienced at copywriting and content creation
• Marketing Automation; Infusionsoft, Clickfunnels, ActiveCampaign
• Email Marketing
• Basic Wordpress skills / familiarity
• Social marketing experience; Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram
• Cannabis business enthusiasts encouraged
• Graphic design and motion graphics with Adobe software: Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign
• Customer Journey, Customer Experience, User Experience or User Interface UX/UI design
