CASH MANAGEMENT BUSINESS ANALYST/OPERATIONS SUPPORT
The position is located in Pasadena but will be remote during Covid. The project is set to begin on 1/4/21. We would like to have a candidate identified and ready to go by the end of December. Conversion to perm not likely.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Disbursement Management Group (DMG) within the CIT Corporate Treasury Cash Management function is responsible for payment processing for business divisions, commercial banking clients and the retail branches accurately, timely and efficiently while following compliance and regulatory policies. CIT is in the process of simplifying the cash payments and receipts infrastructure to improve data capture for cash transactions and DMG will be supporting this effort. The Cash Management DMG BA role will provide operational support to the DMG team during the user acceptance testing phase of the system enhancements as well as assist in UAT testing.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years related experience required (financial services and business analyst/operations support), with BS/BA degree, MBA preferred
- Experience in financial services industry Commercial and Consumer Banking, Cash Management experience preferred
- Strong understanding of project management and operational processes and procedures
- Experience with multi-tasking in a highly operational environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills
- Effective oral and written communications
- The ability to effectively manage and navigate through the multi-faced disciplines throughout the firm
- Orientation to client, workflow, and system end to end thinking of automation, error reduction
- Ability to exercise initiative, problem identification, problem solving, and independent decision making
- Motivation and enthusiasm, and ability to take ownership of initiatives
DESIRED SKILLS
- Experience with wire processing and Treasury cash management processes
- Experience in technical system user acceptance testing
- Experience working with large firm systems and databases
- Strong knowledge of Excel (formulas and functions)
- Proficient in MS Office suite (Project, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint)
