Rising Lotus Counseling is looking for a part-time clinician to join our team! We are located in Stone Ridge, New York and focus primarily on treating children, adolescents, young adults and maternal mental health. We are looking for team members to join us who are enthusiastic about being helpers and healers to members in our community that are seeking support towards mental health wellness. Applicants must have a history of professional experience, as well as a niche(s) in how they engage in their work: i.e. children, couples, trauma, EMDR, family, etc. Rising Lotus Counseling provides a steady stream of referrals, but candidates MUST also be go-getters who are willing to market themselves to grow their own referral base and recognition in the community. Considered candidates should be independent, driven, empathetic, bright, collaborative, and enhance our connected, and positive-minded environment. We thrive under the belief that our patients allow us to bear witness to their experience, while we support them on their journey and are able to learn and grow alongside them both in and out of the practice. Working hours of staff members vary. Staff schedules can include daytime, evening, and/or weekend shifts depending on candidate's availability and arrangements made with clinical director upon hire. Responsibilities: • Provide individual, couples, family and/or group therapy to incoming patients in the practice • Maintain current and accurate documentation for patients on caseload through Electronic Health Record • Carry a caseload of at least 10-12+ clients per week (with flexibility for daytime, evening and weekend hours). • Attend weekly/bi-weekly supervision with agency director Qualifications: Requirements to Apply are: • Masters Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Creative Arts Therapy • Licensed in New York State as an LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LCAT • Minimum 2 years experience in desired field, area of interest, clinical work Preferences for: • Prior private practice experience is a plus but not a necessity • Recent Graduates WITH LICENSURE are encouraged to apply • Experience/Interest in Clinical work with children and play therapy • Candidates should be comfortable treating patients both in-person while maintaining safety precautions for COVID-19, as well as be well-versed in providing telemental health. Compensation: $30 - $45 hourly
