About Us:
Rising Phoenix Wellness Services (RPWS) is a licensed Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) located in North Scottsdale. Our program provides sophisticated services to help those struggling with mental health and/or substance use concerns. We offer a client-centered continuum of comprehensive and individualized care.
Rising Phoenix integrates 5 components of care to heal an individual’s mind, body, and spirit, which differentiates us from most outpatient models. These components include weekly group therapy, weekly individual therapy, case management/ coaching services, wellness services (i.e., yoga, nutrition), and psychiatric/medical services. We have staff who are highly experienced and licensed to provide these services. Our treatment team approaches the recovery process as a partnership between the client and professional.

Job Summary:
The role of Primary Therapist with Rising Phoenix Wellness Services is to provide passionate evidenced-based therapy and education to clients that promotes insight, healing, and progress toward their goals.
Responsibilities:
Providing passionate evidenced-based therapy and education to clients that promotes insight, healing, and progress toward their goals
Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions with a range of exciting topics and evidenced-based modalities
Managing a dynamic case load of unique individuals
Collaborating with partners and families to foster additional support for clientsIllustrating your clinical knowledge and vocabulary through timely documentation
Completing accurate intake assessments
Providing accurate clinical notes regarding concurrent reviews for submission to insurance companies
Learning new skills and sharing your clinical perspective in a weekly supervision with collaboration sessions with fellow treatment team
Engaging in a positive and professional work environment with an intentional focus on culture-building support Sharing creative ideas to both enhance clinical programming and solve evolving issues
Required Skills/Abilities:
Engaging communication skills
A desire to build rapport and establish professional and therapeutic relationships
A hunger to grow and learn personally and professionally
An ability to both provide and receive support from an encouraging team
Adept technical skills including video conferencing platforms, Electronic Medical Records, Zoom, Teams, Word
Education and Experience:
A master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field from an accredited university/college
Licensed or in the processing of becoming licensed and in good standing with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (AZBBHE)
Previous experience or education in mental health and dual-diagnosis treatment
Must be at least 21 years of age
