    Rising Sun Learning Center seeks to recruit passionate, caring, flexible, dependable Early Childhood Education Teachers to work with our 0-5 year old children. RSLC Teachers are responsible for providing care throughout the day that ensures that the safety and well-being of each child is met. This is achieved by responding to their emotional, social, and physical needs as well as their educational needs. RSLC Teachers will also work with their students and their families to identify strategies that will assist parents in transitioning their child from their current environment to the next. RSLC Teachers are responsible for the cleanliness of their classrooms. As well, RSLC Teachers must supervise children at all times and be an example of showing respect to children and coworkers. RSLC Teachers give lots of loves, snuggles, and encouragement! RSLC Teachers must be comfortable engaging and teaching Biblical lessons to the children in their care. RSLC Teachers provides a safe and enriching place as a home away from home and works closely with parents as the children's secondary caregiver. Experience with lesson plans, meal counts and activity logs, as well as maintaining established childcare quality standards and guidelines are preferred. RSLC Early Childhood Education Teachers are required to meet all requirements of Missouri Child Care Licensure. This includes the completion of a Physical, TB Test, 12+ training hours per year, have or will complete CPR & First Aid, must be able to pass Federal Finger Print Background Check, and must be able to lift 30 lbs. The RSLC Teacher role is a full-time position that consists of a 9 hour shift with a one hour break daily at nap time. Overview of Expectations: - Create Lesson Plans: Early childhood educators design their own lesson and classroom instruction plans based on school-approved curriculum. - Lead Daily Activities: Early childhood educators lead daily social, academic, and physical activities for all children in their assigned classes. - Monitor Children: Early childhood educators are responsible for the overall health and welfare of the children in their classroom, which requires diligent monitoring of all children during learning times, meal times, restroom breaks, and nap times. - Encourage and Engage Children: As an early childhood educator, it is necessary to keep all children active and engaged while they are in the classroom. - Keep Classroom Clean and Stimulating: RSLC Teachers are responsible for keeping the classroom clean, organized, and stimulating for children. - Assess Student Development: Early childhood educators must assess all student projects and provide progress reports to parents detailing their child's success and developmental milestones. - Attend Staff Meetings: Early childhood educators must attend mandatory workshops, conferences, and staff meetings as directed by school guidelines. Desired Qualifications: - 1+ to 2 years of experience - Primary Age Groups: Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool - High School Diploma - First Aid Training, CPR Training
