We are seeking an Operations & Risk Management Coordinator to oversee the coordination of all insurance-related matters for our construction clients.
Key Responsibilities:
· The coordinator will not be responsible for directly handling claims but will oversee and facilitate timely communication, ensure compliance, and drive efficient resolutions across all insurance-related matters. This will involve close collaboration with insurance carriers, legal counsel, general contractors, subcontractors, attorneys, risk managers, clients, and the insurance brokers to ensure all parties are aligned and that insurance processes run smoothly and effectively.
· Claims Coordination: Ensure smooth communication and follow-up between all parties involved in all insurance claims matters.
· Risk Management: Oversee subcontractor safety compliance, site inspections, incident response, and investigations.
· Compliance: Ensure adherence to all insurance compliance laws and thoroughly review all insurance-related documents, including contracts, agreements, and policies. The coordinator must be well-versed in construction-related insurance, particularly in understanding the relationship between general contractors and subcontractors, to ensure proper risk management and compliance.
Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field.
· Experience: 3-5 years of experience in claims coordination, preferably in construction.
· Skills: Strong communication, organization, and claims management software proficiency.
