    Commercial Insurance Business Development Associate We are a large privately held Commercial Insurance Agency in the Houston marketplace seeking an out-of-industry sales professional. This is a Business-to-Business insurance sales opportunity that will be working with an established industry veteran with a $1 million+ book of business. This industry veteran is looking to retire in the next couple of years and will be mentoring and training you to take over this book of business when the time comes. They’re offering excellent compensation and a great opportunity to learn the Commercial Insurance industry from a successful sales professional. Responsibilities: • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within a vertically focused commercial insurance market. • Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients and key stakeholders to expand the company's customer base. • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to recommend strategies for business growth and market penetration. • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create and implement effective business development strategies. • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company in the commercial insurance sector. Qualifications: • Sales experience required. • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. • College Bachelors Degree preferred. Compensation: $75,000 - $100,000 yearly
