Ritsema Law, a multi-state workers’ compensation insurance defense law firm providing representation to clients in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah and Arizona, is seeking a full-time Billing Specialist for its downtown Denver location. The Biller performs a variety of document processing, and recordkeeping to assist with the smooth operation of the organization. This is an immediate opening for the right person. We offer a flexible work schedule and casual dress code every day! This position would be onsite during the initial training period (3-6 months depending on experience and performance) and then would have the option to switch to a hybrid work schedule (in office at least 2 days per week).

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Process electronic billing on a monthly basis for multiple websites
• Research and resolve e-billing rejections & appeal submissions
• Manage assigned accounts AR aging
• New matter set up
• Edit & maintain excel spreadsheets
• Assist with the application/management of the COLTAF account

The right candidate for this position possesses the following experience and skills:

• Professional personal presentation and telephone demeanor
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask
• Computer skills and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required
• Customer service oriented, organized, and reliable
• Strong communication skills
• Team Player
• Ability to work independently and identify and solve problems.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work.

Education and Experience:

• High school graduate.
• 1 year of law firm billing work experience required
• Experience with COLTAF accounts preferred
• Accounting background/experience is preferred but not required
• Experience with TABS preferred but not required

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 /year
