Hours are 6am-2:30pm and 11am-7:30pm, with rotating weekends.

Cook Responsibilities:
- Prepare hot and cold menu items which requires working on the grill, sauté station, salad-bar and on the service line
- Prepare meals from scratch from start to finish for high volume of residents by ones self - requires knowledge of cooking procedures and methods of grilling, baking and boiling
- Ensure the proper preparation, portioning and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and the standardized recipes
- Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability
- Determine food and supply needs based on menu and dietary needs
- Communicate changes or shortages quickly and effectively to supervisor
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Senior Living preferred
- Experience with production methods, portion control and food handling safety required.
- Great organizational skills a must
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail and presentation of food product is required.
- Must be able to work weekends (every other) and rotating Holidays.
