Hospitality Host – Rock the Riverfront

The Hospitality Host for River City Company (RCC) serves a liaison during ongoing events hosted or sponsored by RCC by engaging with the public, answering questions, giving directions, and monitoring volunteers during each assigned shift. Each shift will be approximately six (6) hours and shifts are scheduled from 10 AM until 4PM and 3PM until 9PM March 14 – April 14. The majority of the work is on the weekends.

The ideal candidate is one with experience in customer service or hospitality and enjoys working with all age groups in an outdoor setting. This individual should also be able to accomplish some light lifting up to 30lbs, feel comfortable working alone, be available nights and weekends, and can provide their own reliable transportation.

Job Duties Include:

• Set-up or breakdown of RCC tent, tables, and handouts
• Keep hospitality area clean and organized
• Answer questions from guests/visitors with provided information from RCC
• Give simple directions to volunteers
• Assisting RCC staff as needed

This position is part time, temporary, and does not include any employer provided benefits. This position does not guarantee any future employment with RCC. Hourly Rate: $15.00
