Hourly Position

**Requirements: Must hold a Kentucky Surface Miner Certification. Preferred experience in plant maintenance, and surface foreman papers are a plus.

Reports to: Supervisor

The essential functions of this position are determined to be but not limited to:

1. Perform maintenance work on a variety of plant equipment (Pumps, Dryers, Screens, Cyclones, Piping).

2. Perform maintenance work on conveyors and material handling chutes.

3. Welding and use of acetylene/oxygen torches

4. Heavy equipment operation (assists in maintenance work) on cranes, telehandler, forklift, boom truck..

5. Stage parts and prep tools needed for upcoming maintenance work.

6. Fabrication work

7. Assist in production roles as needed.

Work Schedule: Will work four (4) days, Friday through Monday twelve (12) hour shifts. Shifts are 6am to 6pm. Overtime may be required by the supervisor or plant superintendent.

Position Summary: Employee must have general knowledge of prep plant equipment. Must be able to life more than 50 pounds on a regular basis. Must have the ability to climb and work off ladders, catwalks, and man-lifts. Ability to work in confined spaces and climb stairways.
