  • Responsibilities

    Summary:

    The Shuttle Driver is responsible for the routine transportation of passengers by van or bus to various government and commercial buildings and agencies throughout the Washington, DC, metropolitan area (WMA). Individuals must be in full compliance with the Department of Transportation Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Two (2) years of driving experience.
    • Possession of a safe driving record.
    • Possession of a valid Class B or Class C CDL driver’s license.
    • Training and certification to drive and assist disabled passengers being transported in specially equipped vehicles (ADA in the Workplace). Training may be taken after the initial assignment to the position.

    Security Clearance:

    Must currently possess an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph

    • Must be able to establish a rapport and work effectively with a diverse, multi-cultural group of parents, children, family members and other program staff members
    • Understanding of child development and family issues that impact upon child/parent relationships
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
    • Valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle
