    Job Type: Full-Time, Seasonal (March - Mid to late December)

    Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour

    Here is what working as a Fine Gardening Crew Leader at Riverside Services will entail:

    • Demonstrating your strong work ethic by working in the great outdoors in various weather conditions amongst moderate noise levels
    • Enjoying the freedom of working with little to no supervision
    • Taking pride in procuring annuals, perennials, and shrubs
    • Enjoying the satisfaction of maintaining established perennial gardens, planting bed and property cleanups, weeding, edging, and mulching
    • Showing your attention to detail by hand pruning shrubs and ornamental trees (up to 15’)
    • Expressing your creativity in thoughtful design and installation of seasonal container and border plantings and holiday decorating
    • Demonstrating your expert knowledge with winter plant care
    • Taking pride in your professional presentation, organization, and positive attitude
    • Having Sundays off each week
    • Earning overtime pay when your expertise is required
    • Having the opportunity to work as a snow operator

    We ask that you have these qualifications:

    • Two years of fine-gardening experience
    • Working knowledge and ability to identify plant materials
    • Tree, shrub, and corrective pruning skills
    • Ability to lift 50 lbs., and pulling/pushing materials and equipment
    • Full range of upper and lower body mobility: reaching overhead, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods of time
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
    • Willingness to learn and obtain industry certifications
