    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Onboarding Specialist is responsible for the administrative portion of the onboarding process primarily for the contracted motor carrier partners. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with onboarding contractors as well as direct hires with great communication skills. Ultimately, this position will maintain and improve our employer brand, ensuring that people who contribute to our company’s growth are in compliance.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Review all the required onboarding documents of motor carrier contractors.
    • Follow up internally and externally when needed to ensure timely and seamless onboarding
    • Assist with tracking recruitment KPIs, like time to hire, source of hire and time to fill
    • Manage all communication with candidates from the moment they apply until completion of the onboarding process
    • Supporting the Resource Development Coordinator in managing the strategic recruitment plan; ensuring selection of highly qualified personnel
    • Oversee internal and external communication, making sure that our company maintains a positive reputation as an employer (for example on Glassdoor, LinkedIn, and social media)
    • Assisting with organizing hiring events and participate in job fairs to network with potential candidates
    • Performing other duties as assigned

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
    • At least 1 year of work experience as an In-house Onboarding Specialist
    • Familiarity with full cycle recruitment and contractor recruitment
    • Hands-on experience with recruitment software and Applicant Tracking Systems
    • Understanding of HR practices and labor legislation
    • Exceptional communication skills
    • Must have high attention to details
    • Must have high level of organizational skills
    • Exceptional project and personnel management skills with high integrity
    • Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy, fast-growth environment
    • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Power Point is essential
    • Exhibit extraordinary discretion, flexibility, and willingness to work closely with our senior management team

    Pay: $40,000.00 per year
