    POSITION SUMMARY:

     As a Corporate Development Associate, you will analyze past and projected market and customer trends and their impacts on Riverstone. Manage long-term and short-term projects, specifically around data engagement. Identify creative solutions to generate revenue and increase efficiencies. You will use analytical skills, market trends, and internal business leader collaboration to develop, improve, and apply various strategies. The position is also responsible for business development and general corporate support.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: 

    • Collaborate across the company and support various departments, offices, and individuals on specialized projects and tasks.
    • Create dashboards to be used by field executives to effectively manage their team.
    • Partner with managers to train them on how to use access and navigate dashboards
    • Present directly to Executive Leadership to inform operational strategies.
    • Drive company performance through analytics.
    • Analyze large amounts of information to develop innovative solutions.
    • Organize large amounts of complex data quickly and effectively.
    • Utilize analytical software to develop dashboards for all internal business units.
    • Identify areas for improvement and generate strategies to implement them.
    • Participate in the growth of the company and streamlining of processes.
    • Track performance at various levels to gather and analyze company data.
    • Generate new business insights to aid management in critical decision-making.
    • Communicate effectively to all levels of the organization.
    • Responsible for supporting the hiring efforts for the department.
    • Maintain up-to-date awareness of company activities, industry trends, and government regulations.
    • Completes required training.
    • Manage logistics services
    • Perform other related duties assigned.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES):

    •  Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or related field.
    • 1 – 3 years’ experience preferred.
    • Supply Chain, Logistics, or Brokerage experience recommended.
    • Ability to read, understand, analyze, and interpret common industry documents and reports.
    • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. 
    • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and basic arithmetic.
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and present findings to Executive Leadership.
    • Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and related computer programs. Analytical Software experience such as Tableau, SQL are required.
    • Analytical Software experience such as Power BI, Python, and R are recommended.
