POSITION SUMMARY:

Assists in the planning, organizing, coaching, and directing staff that provide services to adults and children with mental illness, substance use and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Provides direct services, documents treatment, and provides clinical guidance as directed to staff. Provides training to consumers, families, and clinicians.

EDUCATION:

Master’s degree in an appropriate mental health discipline.

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

Five or more years ‘experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders. Preferred candidates will have demonstrated leadership experience.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS:

Registered with the State of Michigan as a Limited Licensed Master’s Social Worker, Licensed Master’s Social Worker, Temporary Limited Licensed Psychologist, Limited Licensed Psychologist, Limited Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Professional Counselor. Fully licensed within 30 months of date of hire.

SUPERVISES:

Provides direction to Social Workers, Therapists and SUD Therapists under the direct supervision of the Outpatient Services Supervisor.
