Wildlife Education Part-time and full-time employee needed for a wildlife education company. Employee must be available weekends and some weekdays through the summer. Looking to hire immediately. Must have a driver's license, must have a car large enough to fit 4-foot boxes, must be able to life at least 50lbs, must be able to public speak to children. Our wildlife programs are fun, educational, and entertaining. Our educator needs to be able to come up with fresh ideas and ways of transferring knowledge to children in a funny and exciting way while safely handling animals, mostly reptiles. Age groups of participants can vary as we do programs from preschools to senior centers. Must have some experience caring for/handling reptiles. Employee would be expected to handle snakes, turtles, lizards, and crocodilians. Must be open to handling invertebrates like cockroaches, tarantulas, and scorpions.
