    The Role

    As a Sales Representative on our team, you will be an integral part of the success of our business. Within this role, you will be working with clients to make their hotel renovation and/or new hotel dreams come true. You will be responsible for reaching out to potential clients (via phone and email), developing project bids, as well as following up with previous clients to ensure A1 Hospitality is their first stop for their needs.

     

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Achieve maximum profitable sales monthly through outbound calling and solution-based selling

    • Achieve weekly, monthly, quarterly forecasted, and budgeted sales targets

    • Presenting and delivering information to potential clients

    • Developing bids for new business opportunities

    • Answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions

    • Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities

    • Provide excellent customer service

    • Act as the key point of contact for all account purchase needs

    • Continually upgrade product knowledge and acquire enhanced selling skills

    • Work collaboratively with other employees in vendor relations, merchandising, sales, and marketing

    • Prioritize and target customers/prospects by potential for revenues, cost to sell, and probability of success

    • Maintaining sales customer database, ensuring all information is correctly captured to maximize sales and marketing opportunities

    • Staying informed about competing products and services

     

    Requirement and Qualifications:

    • Experience in outbound sales, specifically B2B, is an asset

    • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)

    • Excellent phone and cold calling skills

    • Ability to close both short and long sales cycles

    • Tenacity to handle rejection and continue with a positive attitude when reaching next potential client

    • Experience in client and customer relationship management

    • Thorough knowledge of a consultative or solutions-based sales process, including knowledge in prospecting, qualifying, presenting, closing, objection handling and closing

    • Strong sales skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals, customer acquisition, and retention

    • Ability to perform in a fast paced and changing environment

    • Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team

    • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure

    • Experience in the hotel and hospitality industry a plus
