  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    This position is responsible for troubleshooting, project management, and maintaining Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, servers, and infrastructure. This role also involves supporting hardware and business applications.

    Essential Functions:

    • Research, recommend, and maintain infrastructure technologies, including Microsoft 365, Azure, and WAN/LAN hardware.

    • Manage server operating systems (Windows AD 2012R2/2022) and network applications.

    • Establish and maintain network services globally, including WINS, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.

    • Deploy and maintain security controls such as firewalls, intrusion detection, and protection systems.

    • Design, implement, and support server architecture, including Windows Server, SQL, and VMWare.

    • Configure and maintain business-class firewalls and VPNs.

    • Collaborate with clients, vendors, and consultants for technical solution projects.

    • Provide technical support at the network level and maintain system documentation.

    • Azure Cloud development

      • Experience using git repos (Azure Repos, GitHub)
      • Infrastructure-As-Code (IaC)
      • Bicep
      • Desired State Config (DSC)
      • PowerShell scripting
      • Azure DevOps
      • Agile methodology
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Necessary qualifications, skills and abilities:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field; OR 3-5 years’ experience in designing, implementing, and supporting internetworking environments including routing, switching, firewalling.

    • Strong troubleshooting skills and proficiency in the Microsoft platform including Windows Server, Active Directory, and Cloud (365, Azure)

    • Ability to multitask and work in high-pressure environments.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Professional IT Industry Certifications from vendors such as: CompTIA, Cisco, VMware, Fortinet, Microsoft (Server, Azure, 365)

    Physical demands and work environment:

    • Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data.
