ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE (AR) SPECIALIST (ENTRY-LEVEL)

POSITION SUMMARY:

The AR Specialist will assist with the day-to-day functions of the Accounts Receivable Team within the Finance Department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze data, invoices, and service level information provided by sales to develop project plans for both new and prospective customers.
• Assists the AR Staff Accountants in the completion of RoadRunner’s monthly invoicing cycle to ensure all deadlines are achieved.
• Works with the AR/Revenue Manager and senior Collections Dept staff to review and accurately apply overpayment amounts/credits on customer accounts.
• Completes balance reallocation questions within company ERP system to ensure accurate and timely corrections to misapplied customer payments.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree Required

• Ability to manage multiple projects, multi-task and effectively prioritize conflicting assignments with minimal supervision.
• Ability to influence and collaborate at all levels and across all functions of the organization.
• Proven ability to organize/manage multiple priorities coupled with the flexibility to quickly adapt to ever changing business needs.
• Strong analytical and problem solving.  Solid decision making in a timely manner.
