Job Summary: As a Service Advisor at Roadmasters Tire Pros & Auto Care, your role will involve advising and consulting customers on their vehicle service needs. You will create repair orders and effectively communicate with the service department. This position offers great potential for growth and advancement.
Responsibilities:
Greet and promptly assist customers in a friendly manner
Determine the nature of customer problems, which may involve conducting road tests or visually inspecting vehicles
Create detailed Repair Order Requests (ROR) outlining the required service or merchandise
Obtain customer approval for services before delivering the order to the service personnel
Review completed repairs or services with customers and collect payment
Maintain cleanliness of the showroom and restock displays as needed
Perform daily cash/sales procedures at the end of each business day
Adhere to the Company Quality Control Program, Company Safety Policy, and OSHA and EPA regulations
Desired Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent vocational training
Proficiency in using computerized sales and marketing software
Knowledge of auto/truck tire, lubrication, and maintenance issues
Experience utilizing Mitchell Repair, Activant, All-Data, and vehicle service manuals to research and resolve malfunctions
Preferred Experience:
2+ years of experience in a retail environment, preferably in auto/truck tire, lubrication, and maintenance
3+ years of experience as a Service Advisor in an auto repair store, auto dealership, or similar professional setting
Experience as a vehicle mechanic or lubrication technician
