Munich Re Specialty Group North America (MRSG N.A.) is seeking enthusiastic and talented individuals to join us as we grow. As part of Munich Re Group, we are a unique organization providing expertise in specialty and marine lines of insurance as well as surety risks and custom bonds with inhouse claims solutions.

We are seeking a full time CLIENT SUPPORT, LOGISTICS INSURANCE to join the Roanoke Insurance Group division in our Long Beach, CA office.

JOB PROFILE

• Issue all related insurance documentation including proposals, policies, endorsements and renewal documentation
• Maintain accurate account records and handle administrative responsibilities associated with processing of new and existing accounts
• Proficiency in proprietary systems to maintain client records
• Maintain a positive relationship with all clients and co-workers
• Verify insurance company billings/discrepancy reports as required
• Assist the account managers with the production of new business, existing accounts and day to day client support tasks for example issue certificates of insurance
• Responsible for CoverageDock setup, monthly shipment report monitoring and administration of shipment referrals
• Career Band: U1

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• P&C Producer License in home state preferred, but not required at start of employment
• Excellent customer service skills to explain and provide our products in a prompt and accurate fashion
• Above average math skills to work with numbers and percentages
• Strong analytical skills and ability to make decisions, problem solve and think on your feet
• Proficiency with written and oral communication. Ability to provide information in a clear, concise manner with an appropriate level of detail, empathy and professionalism
• Strong organizational skills to maintain paperwork in an orderly and accurate manner
• Ability to build relationships and work as part of a team in a positive and professional manner
• Experience in standard office programs (Windows, Word, Excel) and strong aptitude for learning proprietary software

RIG operates as a specialty insurance broker focused on surety, insurance and related offerings for logistics service providers, customs brokers and companies with supply chains.
