CORRECTIONS OFFICER LATERAL TRANSFER – LAKE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
IF YOU ARE CURRENTLY A CERTIFIED CORRECTIONS OFFICER AND LOOKING FOR GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES TO ENHANCE YOUR CAREER, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office is currently accepting applications for the position of Corrections Officer.
SALARY: $25.57/HR (AS DETERMINED BY TEAMSTERS LOCAL 700)
The general function of the position within the organization is to perform complex work related to community protection, public safety, and victim’s rights through the custodial supervision of sentenced individuals and pre-trial detainees utilizing direct supervision and innovative community-based management principles. The position is under moderate supervision. Duties include, but are not limited to, maintaining a safe environment for corrections staff and inmates. REQUIRED SKILLS
YOU MUST BE CURRENTLY WORKING AS A FULL-TIME CORRECTIONS OFFICER.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
