Description Robert Half Technology is looking for a DataBusiness Analyst for one of our largest clients in Irvine, CA. This DataBusiness Analyst will be responsible for data prep, extraction, and cleaning of data. Also, providing new solutions, documentation and translate requirements to stakeholders . Below are the requirements for this DataBusiness Analyst. Requirements Experience with moving data to SQL is a plus Experience with WebFocus for data extraction Experience with reporting and analytics Must be able to Extract, clean, and integrate data into optimized data streams for consumption in various reports, models, dashboards Must be able to understand project requirements, investigate potential sources of data and develop robust processes to deliver quality data sets Contribute to data governance repository as new data sets are developed and ensure proper maintenance, quality inspections and production controls Assist business in implementing new solutions by determiningdocumenting requirements of project These requirements will be integrated into recommendation for tools, processes and skill sets required to meet business needs No direct reports but may need to provide leadershipcoordination for cross-functional teamsinitiatives Qualifications Degree in technical or business curriculum 1-4 years of data analysis experience Must be professional in conduct and practice Ability to work in a team environment Creative, responsive and adaptive in a dynamic environment Must have the aptitude and desire to learn new competencies and skills Adhere to all established company policies, procedures, and safety rules as outlined Ability to work 40 hours per week bearing in mind some overtime may be required Extensive experience and working knowledge of computers, especially in data extractionreporting software Expertise in delivery technologies and data access, including familiarity with metadata, data organization, data integration, data quality assessment and data profiling Working knowledge of data preparation, governance and quality Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing Ability to independently, resourcefully, and creatively research and implement new solutions Working knowledge of analysis and reporting tools Interpersonal communication skills Ability to frequently communicate orally, write, read, comprehend, reason, and perform basic mathematic calculations and analysis 1-2 years of SQL Server experience is preferred Robert Half Technology matches IT professionals with remote or on-site jobs on a temporary, project or full-time basis.
