    We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Tax Analyst to join a dynamic payroll team. The Payroll Tax Analyst will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely compliance with all payroll tax regulations and requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of payroll tax laws, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

    Responsibilities:

    Tax Compliance:

    • Ensure accurate and timely filing of all federal, state, and local payroll tax returns.
    • Stay current on changes in tax laws and regulations, and update payroll processes accordingly.
    • Collaborate with external tax agencies to resolve any compliance issues.

    Data Analysis and Reporting:

    • Conduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Prepare and analyze payroll tax reports for management, identifying trends or discrepancies.

    Process Improvement:

    • Continuously evaluate and enhance payroll tax processes for efficiency and accuracy.
    • Implement best practices to streamline tax-related workflows.

    Communication and Collaboration:

    • Work closely with the payroll team to address any payroll tax-related issues or discrepancies.
    • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external agencies to resolve inquiries or discrepancies.

    Research and Problem Solving:

    • Conduct research on complex payroll tax issues and provide recommendations for resolution.
    • Investigate and resolve payroll tax notices and discrepancies.

    - Efficient in Payroll software

    - Previous payroll experience

    - Outstanding data entry skills

    - Eagerness to master new systems

    - High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills

    - Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills

    - Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills

    - Comprehensive knowledge of Local Payroll Tax

    - Adeptness in Payroll Taxes

    - Local Payroll Tax experience highly desired

    - Foundational knowledge in Payroll Tax Deposits

    - Payroll Tax Deposits experience

    - Strong familiarity with Payroll Tax Reporting
