Roberts Communications Network, LLC (“RCN”) is an established, yet rapidly expanding communications service provider based in Henderson, NV. RCN provides 24 x 7 television programming to various media distribution platforms within the USA, Latin America, and other regions across the globe. We have recently expanded our operations with the construction of a new, state of the art, 70,000 Sq. Ft broadcast facility. RCN is looking for qualified individuals to add to our team of networking technical support staff. This team designs, builds, and deploys mission critical LAN/WAN networks worldwide, and provides 24 x 7 monitoring and support to our rapidly expanding customer base.

Technical support staff in this role are responsible for maintaining network stability by proactively monitoring and supporting critical network devices and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation with an understanding of fundamental networking principles. This is a full-time, entry level position. Onsite training will be provided for all associated job functions and responsibilities.

Compensation: Starting at $15.00 Hourly

Responsibilities:

• Use a variety of monitoring tools to identify potential network issues.
• Report and troubleshoot issues related to network connectivity, equipment alarms, core device status, and routing.
• Answer inbound customer support calls and emails.
• Provide remote support for field technicians and facility personnel.
• Work with vendors to create trouble tickets and obtain regular status updates.
• Escalate priority issues to Tier 2 Technicians.
• Maintain department documentation and compile shift reports as needed.

Qualifications:

• Strong technical foundation with an understanding of fundamental networking principles is a must. As onsite training will be provided, previous experience in the networking field is not required.
• Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and desktop operating systems.
• Must be available to work all shifts, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to obtain necessary gaming registration / licenses needed for employment with RCN.
