    Robinson Lumber Company is looking to hire a Sales Assistant to join our established sales and purchasing support team. A good candidate may have experience from a different industry but will have a proven ability to work under pressure and prioritize.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Customer/Supplier relations, including making sales offers and replying to inquiries
    • Managing sales opportunities and quoting
    • Issuing Sales Orders and Purchase Orders
    • Maintaining customer & supplier information in Salesforce.com CRM system
    • Preparing internal reports such as sales reports and budgeting
    • Other tasks as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Previous sales, purchasing, and/or logistics experience a plus
    • Ability to speak a second language is a plus
    • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task are essential to this position
    • Professional communication skills (personal/verbal and written)
    • Lumber knowledge not necessary

    This is a full time, salaried position.
