Job Description

The Global Sourcing Manager is responsible for handling the company’s end to end sourcing operations. The individual will be able to appraise and improve sourcing activities by analyzing the company’s spending, supplying partnerships and new possibilities. Duties/Responsibilities:

• Manages the company’s supply portfolio ensuring transparency of spending.
• Generates and implements efficient sourcing and category management strategies.
• Analyzes and calculates costs of procurement and suggests methods to decrease expenditures.
• Invents negotiation strategies and secures profitable deals.
• Optimizes sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency.
• Cooperates with stakeholders to guarantee agreement on terms and processes.
• Researches and anticipates shifts in the negotiating power of suppliers.
• Performs cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
• Estimates risks and apply risk minimizing techniques.
• Discovers and partners with trustworthy vendors and suppliers.
• Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and hands on experience.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing drugs or dietary supplements.
• Communication Skills (Oral/Written) - able to speak clearly, concisely, and accurately in order to ensure effective department operations, including communication/negotiation with Suppliers/Vendors.
• Computer Skills – (Intermediate) - knowledge of SAP, eProcurement, Online Reverse Auction Tool, eRFx, ERS, EDI, and web based communications, to include MS Office.
