ABOUT THE COMPANY:

Roc 360 is a national lender for the professional home renovators market, including fix & flippers and landlords who fix up thousands of older single-family homes each year. There is a significant opportunity to make homes more sustainable through energy efficiency, electrification, sustainable materials, xeriscaping and other retrofits. Roc 360 is an entrepreneurial and mission driven company who is researching and developing solutions to renovate more sustainable homes across the U.S. residential sector. 

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Associate will drive research in multiple topics across data, science, policy and business; and synthesize insights into white papers, resources and educational material. They will also work closely with the rest of the Green Team to support efforts in program development as we build solutions to help renovators and homeowners with implementing their green home projects. We are looking for someone who is excited to be part of contributing to and evolving with our team as we build a new business around making a difference in greening homes across the U.S.!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Research a wide array of topics within the sustainable residential sector ranging from government incentives, regulations, ESG reporting, rating systems e.g., HES, HERS & LEED, green building science & solutions, databases and tools, products, competitors & partners, industry organizations, greenhouse gas accounting, customer research

• Support program development initiatives such as building databases, implementing tech projects, implementing customer programs, implementing partnership programs

• Develop educational, marketing and training materials for builders, renovators and other industry professionals

JOB DETAILS

• Status: Part-time Contractor

• Hours: 20 - 40 hours per week, some flexibility with hours

• Rate: $20- 35/ hour, per candidate experience

• Timeline: Start immediately

• Potential to turn into a full time position

CANDIDATE TRAITS

• Bachelor's degree in a related field

• Passionate about green and residential sector

• Strong generalist researcher across data, science, business and policy topics

• Strong writer & communicator

• Organized project manager

• Entrepreneurial and able to operate in a fast-paced space

• Team player

• Lives in NYC metro area (preferred)
