    CDL-class A Truck Driver - Dry Bulk Pneumatic Now recruiting for Spring opportunities. Positions are limited. Responsibilities include self-motivated and driven professional truck drivers who want to be part of a successful team. Driver must follow all DOT and FMCSA regulations, make safety a top priority, follow all Rock Solid documentation policies and procedures, and deliver loads to project sites on time and in a safe and professional manner. Responsibilities: • Comply with all safety programs and procedures • Load, transport and unload all materials in cooperation with the job site crews, while placing strong importance on specified delivery appointments • Comply with all Federal, State, and local DOT and FMCSA regulations along with internal policies and procedures, licensing, and certifications • Verify all materials and quantities on each load loan and matching bill of ladings are matching – must be very good with details • Communicate clearly and professionally at all times • Serve as a Company ambassador in every interaction with customers, subcontractors, coworkers, vendors, public inspectors, and the general public • Conduct daily pre and post-trip inspections of the equipment and report any issues or problems for repair • Maintain a clean, safe, and operable truck and trailer including basic maintenance while away on the job – fluids, greasing, housekeeping, etc. • Ensure hours of service electronic logs are accurate and in compliance with all regulations • Proficiency in using phone applications to enter proper information into dispatches and maintaining proper paperwork and workflow • Maintain compliance with the CDL license • Willingness to travel out of town for various lengths of time • Perform other related duties as required and assigned Qualifications: • Class A CDL required - Hazmat and Tanker endorsements and TWIC a plus, but not required (Interstate) • Medical card required • Manual Transmission experience is a plus • Minimum 21 years of age • Good driving history (no recent major driving citations or violations and verifiable previous driving employment) • Pre-employment drug screen, background check, FMCSA PSP, MVR check, and compliance with DOT drug and alcohol program required • The use of modern technology such as smartphones and tablets is required • Must be willing to travel for various lengths of time (Variable from 1 week to 1-2 months depending on the project) • Make safety a top priority while also maintaining a sense of urgency to ensure the entire team's success • Pneumatic bulk hauling experience preferred but not required (training provided as needed) Compensation • Experience-based percentage pay (28-32% of gross truck revenue) • Ability to gross over $80,000 annually + amazing benefitsPaid weekly via direct deposit • Excess wait time (load/unload) paid hourly ($35/hour) • Daily travel per diem when out of town ($30 - $88 per day) • Premium-pay on weekends and holidays (+10% - ex. regular 32% drivers paid 42% on Saturdays, Sundays, and major holidays) • Monthly phone allowance • Paid mobilization to/from out-of-town projects • Paid onboarding and training Industry-leading benefits package including; • 100% company-paid medical/vision/dental insurance premiums for employees/spouse/dependents after 3 months • 401(k) plan with company contributions ( minimum 3% safe harbor contribution, plus company contribution, totaling up to 7-8% annually ) eligible after the first day of the new quarter with a 6-year vesting schedule • Company-paid life insurance policy • Long-term disability insurance coverage paid by the company • Quarterly signing/retention bonus (Structured at $5,000 your first year and increases each year!) • Internal referral bonus ($2,000) • Other performance/safety incentives • All Basic PPE provided Rock Solid is a rapidly growing full-service soil stabilization and pavement reclamation specialty contractor that has a nationwide presence & been recognized by INC 5,000's Fastest Growing Companies within the last 3 years.
