RockItCoin is a blockchain technology company headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, and is a leader in the cryptocurrency space. The company has built a nationwide network of bitcoin ATMs and is targeting international expansion to achieve its goal of bringing cryptocurrency to the masses.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

RockItCoin is seeking its first Full Stack Developer to assist with both front-end and back-end development projects. In this position, you will work with internal teams to develop and maintain high-quality code and design core UI features focused on providing an extraordinary user experience. You will work in an energetic office environment, developing high-performing systems to help us achieve our goal of bringing cryptocurrency to the masses!

 WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Own full stack development projects, bringing data into our system from external sources, and displaying data through internal user interfaces.
• Design and develop UI features for an internal web app (Angular framework / Node.js programming language).
• Work closely with operations, marketing, and accounting on internal database projects (SQL and Cloud Firestore).
• Angular front-end and web app design and implementation. 
• MySQL and NoSQL database structuring and organization.
• Collaborate with development teams using Github best practices.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field. 
• 3+ years of full stack development experience. 
• Experience with Angular front-end development.
• Comfortable working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience working in a Github-based team environment is a plus. 
• Familiarity with Javascript and Node.js. 
• Ability to communicate highly technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, manage time effectively, and own results.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter, ability to thrive in a fast paced, start-up environment.
• Outstanding work ethic, integrity, and commitment.
