Rocket Software is hiring a Data Application Developer who will be responsible for developing and supporting Rocket Software’s enterprise data platform and capabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the successful completion and delivery of data and analytics projects and deliverables
• Develop, maintain, and support key ETL processes across a variety of systems
• Extract data from a variety of systems and sources to perform analysis on data quality, completeness, and accuracy. Transform and cleanse large datasets as needed
• Ensure the availability and uptime of key data and analytics applications
• Build and maintain documentation of data elements used for reporting and analytics
• Develop and maintain dashboards and data visualizations

Required Skills

• 5 years experience working in data engineering, data and analytics platform strategy, business intelligence or data warehousing
• Experience developing and implementing data warehousing solutions and advanced analytics capabilities
• Hands-on experience using cloud-based BI and data platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Power BI, Tableau
• Python, R, SQL, Apache Spark experience preferred
• Experience working in a multi-platform environment with both cloud and on-premise technology
• Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, Power BI, Dell Boomi, Tableau experience preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with both a technical and non-technical audience
• Familiar with agile/scrum development methodologies
• Degree preferred in computer science, engineering, economics, statistics, or related field
