Fabricator

The polisher is responsible for polishing stone countertop edges and bottoms and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Responsibilities

Responsible for properly polishing stone countertop edges and bottoms to meet customer specifications.

Ability to use and understand basic hand-held measuring and power tools.

Responsible for the detection and reporting of defective materials or questionable conditions to management.

Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion, following appropriate safety procedures.

Performs inspections of machine products and document findings as appropriate.

Completes and maintains paperwork for countertops and materials.

Trains on other shop equipment as needed.

Bilingual preferred

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, use hands to finger, grasp, handle or feel, reach, crouch, bend, or kneel, and perform repetitive motions of the hands and/or wrists.

Exerts up to 100 pounds of force, and/or up-to 100 pounds of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
